1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, business name, and business type when you create an account. We also collect data about your customers (leads) that you receive through the ZappyQuote widget, including their name, email, phone number, and service request message.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the Service: generating AI-powered quotes, sending emails on your behalf, and processing follow-up communications. We also use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our AI models and service quality. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. AI Processing
Customer inquiries are processed by AI language models to generate quotes. This processing happens in real-time and the AI does not retain conversation history between requests. We use third-party AI providers (via OpenRouter) to process text. Only the minimum necessary data is sent for quote generation.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. Payment information is processed directly by Stripe and never touches our servers.
5. Email Communications
We send transactional emails on your behalf through Resend (Amazon SES). These include quotes, follow-up reminders, and booking confirmations. We also send account-related emails such as welcome messages and billing notifications. You can manage email preferences in your dashboard.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), OpenRouter (AI processing), and Hostinger (web hosting). Each service has its own privacy policy governing data handling.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Our website functions without non-essential cookies.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through your dashboard settings. You can export your data or request full account deletion by contacting us. For EU residents, we comply with GDPR requirements including the right to data portability and the right to be forgotten.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
